Welcome to my creative world.

I am Rikki Tollenaere, a multidisciplinary artist living and working in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. Inspired by the sea, wild landscapes, and the quiet details of the natural world, I create paintings, textile artworks, and sculptural pieces that explore our connection to place.

My artistic journey began with oil painting, particularly seascapes and abstract works inspired by the rhythms, colours, and ever-changing nature of water. Over time, thread, fabric, and stitch became part of my visual language. Today, I combine painting, free-motion embroidery, hand stitching, natural fibres, and found materials to create works that celebrate beauty, memory, and the poetry of the everyday.

Whether I am painting a horizon, stitching a delicate flower, or transforming treasures gathered on a walk, my work begins with careful observation and a deep curiosity about the natural world.

My studio is open by appointment. If I'm not there, you'll probably find me outdoors, collecting inspiration from the landscape that surrounds me.
